Time to Fly Walk/Run
(This is not all of Team Natalie from last year. The runners from lastyear are not pictured, they finished their race before us.)
Team Natalie will be participating in the Time to Fly 5k Walk/Run again this year and we're EXCITED (we are hoping it won't rain like last year... we walked through the rain though)!!!! We will also be adding a fundraising event on June 1-2, 2007.
GARAGE SALE SUCCESS!
Thank you, for all your support and donations over the last few weeks and months. With your help we were able to raise $711.43 all for Childrens Cancer research fund at our sale. We had a great weekend, lots of sorting and an overwhelming reponse of items donated for our garage sale. I am also excited to share with you that we had a lemonade stand that Haley ran on Saturday and my 4 year old neighbor baked cookies and had a cookie stand on Saturday as well, all to raise money for the Childrens Cancer Researh Fund! It was an exciting weekend!!!

Team Natalie is made up of adults and KIDS! There is a 1K and 2K walk or run for kids, a 5K walk/run and a 10k run for adults, children are welcome to walk the 5K with us as well. (Litlle Haley has every year! I'm so proud of her for walking the whole 5K! what a trooper!) Click on any of the names below to sponsor a member of Team Natalie. Team Natalie's Story
For those of you who might not know, Natalie was a friend and former student of mine. She was a fun loving, energetic, sweet, caring little girl. Natalie loved to play soccer, and enjoyed nature. Natalie had a smile that would instantly warm the room when she entered. Natalie passed away on June 3rd, 2005, of a Tumor in her Brain, she was 8 years old. This has been a great way for us to honor the memory of this special little girl and I'm so excited every year to have others join in this walk/run. What an awesome thing it has been to see our team grow and to raise money for the children's cancer research fund in memory of Natalie. This year will be Team Natalie's 3rd year raising money and walking/running for the cause, and we know that Natalie is with us every step of the way. Last year we recieved a team award for being the top fundraising team without a corporate sponsor. So I invite you to join us and walk or run as we work towards finding a cure and fighting cancer in children. Way to go Haley! Lets see if we all can do as well as she is doing.
I'm proud of all of you. Everyone has worked hard the last couple of years to do this in Natalie's memory. This is Michael's first year. He's training hard to run that 2K. Keep up the good work!!! Michelle
The first day of the garage sale was great. Hopefully the 2nd day will be as good.
The garage sale was a success. We even had our 4 year old neighbor selling cookies, and Haley selling Lemonade. Thanks to all who helped.
We have a week to go, and are only 449.00 away from our team goal. I know we can make it. Keep up the good work.
WOW!!! As of Monday, June 18 you are almost at your goal. We are so proud of everyone who have been working hard. Haley, Corrine's kids and Michael are commended on their generous hearts at such a young age. We are very proud of you and keep up the good work. Michelle and Hal Nyseth
